ScholarTrack — Scholarship Finder

- Nigerian students spend months manually searching for scholarships across hundreds of websites, missing deadlines due to information fragmentation.
- Work
- Built a web app that aggregates scholarships from 50+ sources, with smart filtering by course, country, and deadline. Users get email alerts for new matches.
- Outcome
- 300+ active users within 2 months of launch. 12 users confirmed scholarship applications made through the platform.
Final Year Project — Crop Disease Detector
- Context
- Nigerian smallholder farmers lose up to 40% of yield to crop diseases that could be caught early with expert knowledge they lack.
- Work
- Built a mobile-friendly web app using a fine-tuned CNN model to classify cassava leaf diseases from smartphone photos.
- Outcome
- Achieved 87% classification accuracy on a validation set of 2,000 images. Presented at the University of Lagos Engineering Showcase.
